Claire and James had known each other for nearly twenty years before they truly met.

Claire was James' little sister’s best friend — someone who had always been there, familiar, trusted. Their lives ran alongside each other for years, intersecting occasionally.

Then, one summer during COVID, everything changed.

Claire came down to the south of France to visit James' sister, and in that quiet, slowed-down moment in the world, something shifted.

The right place. The right time.

“Looking back, it feels as though the person each of us was meant to be with had been there all along — patiently waiting — until we were ready to truly recognise each other.”  James, the Groom

Inspired by Claire’s love of astrology, the ring was designed to represent more than a beautiful stone — it was meant to symbolise two people. The concept took shape as two rings, each reflecting a star sign, designed to unite into a single, harmonious piece.
Anna immediately understood the vision and guided the process with clarity and openness, from mood boards to final design, allowing the idea to unfold naturally and without limitation. The result is a bespoke creation that feels deeply personal — not just a ring, but a shared story, thoughtfully crafted and truly loved.
Inspired by Claire’s love of astrology, the ring was conceived as a design that symbolised two individuals becoming one. Working closely with Anna, the concept evolved into two rings representing each star sign, designed to unite seamlessly into a single piece. The result is a bespoke creation that reflects Atelier Molinari’s approach — thoughtful, collaborative, and rooted in meaning as much as craftsmanship.

“At no point did Anna place limitations on what could be done; instead, she focused on making the work in the best possible way.”  James, the Groom

“The ring felt unique, meaningful, and perfectly “us.” It wasn’t just a ring; it was a story we had created together.”  James, the Groom

For the Bride and Groom's wedding band I wanted to have the feeling of an eternal starry night encapsulated into their ring so I added a hidden shooting star inside both their rings.
