Maryam and Victor met during their studies in Montreal. Maryam is French and American, and she moved to London after her studies, which is where Victor grew up. Their engagement story is a funny one; they were spending the Christmas holidays together with Maryam's family for the first time. Victor decided it was good time to tell Maryam's father about his intentions to marry his daughter. He took this as a definite proposal, and told the whole family about it 2 minutes later. That was it. They were engaged that Christmas day!
“Working with Anna was a pleasure from start to finish – I first heard about her work through my mom who works with various jewellers. While browsing through her collections, I instantly fell in love with the Dentelière bezel-less setting, especially the three-stone Pointillés design, and wanted to recreate it as a white gold, diamond-set engagement ring. Maryam wanted some good quality diamonds, so I learned all about the 4C’s, which Anna was very helpful in explaining to me. Anna also took the time to meet me in person a couple of times, to show me various design options, and help me pick the right stones.” Victor, the Groom
Anna Molinari met Victor and his mother for their first meeting with Objet d'Emotion. Valerie, the founder, gathers a few of her favourite designers and tailors each of her clients’ research to match them with a designer she feels would be the best fit.
Victor knew what his girlfriend wanted and it was very sweet to see how he took his task of finding the most perfect stones for his beloved. They interpreted one of her designs and adjusted the thickness of the band, and added small diamonds to add a sense of continuity. It was a huge pleasure for Anna to work with Victor, whose sense of attention to detail she found moving and she was so pleased when she finally got to meet his wonderful wife to be.
